CAE Program Office Staffing in light of COVID-19

In light of COVID-19, the CAE Program Office has been granted the option to telework. As a result, the office will be minimally staffed and you may have trouble reaching us if you call. To ensure a response, please email us at both caepmo@nsa.gov and caeprogramoffice@gmail.com as many of us are unable to access our NSA emails at home. Unfortunately, there may be a delay in response until we resume business as usual. We are currently looking at options to make a telephone number available, so please stand by for those details.

2020 CAE-CD Designation Cycle

***********************************************************

Special Announcement:

The CAE Cyber Defense Education Program is currently undergoing a review and update of the application process. Input is being solicited from all CAE-CDE designated institutions to inform this evolution. After input from all designated institutions is compiled, a detailed process will be presented. As a result of this evolution, 2020 CAE-CDE re-designating schools will automatically be given a no-lapse extension of at least one-year. Re-designating CAE-Rs will still need to submit an application for re-designation.

New applicants and schools in the Candidates Program will follow direction from the CNRC as to how and when to apply. New applicants should complete the Applicant Checklist as per usual. Any new schools wishing to apply as a CAE-R should contact the CAE Program Office at caepmo@nsa.gov.
